Good morning and Happy Monday! Hope you had a great weekend! My weekend was much more relaxing than last weekend. Even with a 2 mile walk, a lower body+core workout, AND a total body workout thrown in.
Unfortunately I did not get my workout in this morning. I slept terribly and tried to get an extra hour of sleep (up at 6 instead of 5). No huge deal. I will just come straight home and do my workout before an evening out with the girls. My friend G is a new Mary Kay consultant and we are acting as her guinea pigs tonight! Always fun playing with makeup.

On a completely different note, my plants are starting to bloom. Check this one out:
Last year I had one bloom total on my peony. Hopefully this cold snap we are going through won’t hurt the plant. Currently it is 44 degrees this morning. Much cooler than normal for this time of year.

I really like this one! I really do feel like a badass during some of my workouts. Now to convince the pounds to go bye-bye.
Results are not just from your workout, but what you eat. Your workout is important, but that doesn’t mean you can eat anything you want all day long. Trust me on this one.
This is what 5 pounds of fat looks like. The fat must get out of my body. I am starting to use a body fat monitor so I can track it along with my weight.
I have thunder thighs (I inherited them from my grandfather). Currently they are headed toward being very muscular and strong. Before I even started my workouts I could leg press 200 pounds. I need to go back and test them again.
